Our social mission Prialto’s mission is to "improve life" by connecting global talent with the people who can most use it. We are creating the human cloud to enable individuals and the smallest enterprises to work globally even as they do business locally. We understand concerns about sourcing work from across political borders. However, we are inspired as firsthand witnesses to how outsourcing can uplift both customers and our employees—no matter their locations. Our view is supported by a 2003 study by the McKinsey Global Institute which found that “for every dollar of corporate spending that is outsourced to a low-wage nation, the US economy gains as much as $1.14 in return. Far from being a zero-sum game, offshoring is instead a story of mutual economic gain.” Prialto enhances the markets we serve by constantly developing new services for our members. This is very different from stereotypical outsourcing ventures that seek only to take existing jobs off shore. We are not interested in lowering a large corporation’s costs by replacing current workers. We focus on enhancing the capabilities of our individual and small business members by providing services previously considered out-of-reach, unaffordable, or impractical. We are also dedicated to positively impacting the locations from which we operate. Our assistants get extensive training in many industries. We offer meaningful work with a clear path for advancement. And working for Prialto builds marketable international-business skills good for launching any modern career. Improving life wherever it may reside: That is central to our mission.
